Blurgh!

You know what sucks? Getting up early on a beautiful spring morning to go to the library and then staying there ALL day. Know what sucks more? Doing it two days in a row... While ill... And then you get your essays turned in, and go check your bank account, and you find out the school has fibbed and they HAVEN'T returned your 250 quid just yet, you hope they plan on doing it...And then coming home to check for your mail, and you're sort of losing your voice a bit, so when the porter tells people you're from Houston, you just nod and smile...

{Sigh} But anyway... I feel better... Except I am still losing my voice. It's come to my attention that I have described the Welsh as 'noodly' on two seperate occaisons. I don't think the Welsh are 'noodly'... I'm not entirely sure what 'noodly' means in a context outside pasta products... But the Welsh are very nice. lovely singing voices. Creative use of leek.

I'm thinking I may take a short trip to Amsterdam next month. Anybody wanna come with me? Let me know, cuz it should be fun- although, as my mother has reminded me, we will have missed the tulips... And on a VERY positive note... I'm done! No more classes! No more papers! No more nothing! I'm freeee!!! So I'm gonna go out and explore the English countryside... Tomorrow... I'm sleepy and sick right now! Gonna take a nap now...

*UPDATE* Ever had only one coughdrop, say a blackcurrant Lockets, and your throat feels awful, but you hold off using it because you're afraid you might want it more later, and then you finally use it only to accidentally fall asleep and when you wake up it's melded to your pillow? Well it's a sticky purple nightmare, I'll tell you that much!
